C FINE ART presents
OFF THE WALL: An Exhibition of Sculpture & Sculptural Wall Pieces
@ THE WHITE ROOM GALLERY
This exhibition explores contemporary abstract sculpture through a variety of materials; stone, aluminum, bronze and paper, masterfully executed to create a myriad of texture, movement and 3-dimensional form, both free-standing, or emerging from the gallery walls.
An exciting roster of internationally recognized artists, including Kevin Barrett, John Van Alstine, Isobel Folb Sokolow, Norman Mooney and Rogan Brown will be participating with sculpture and wall reliefs of all sizes. Each artist fabricates his/her work with a discernible yearning, one that reaches far beyond the boundaries of their chosen material revealing a unique visual language which engages the viewer on a variety of levels.
Large-scale, outdoor sculpture will be on view for the season in the front gallery courtyard.
Paintings by Beth Barry, Melissa Hin and Sally Breen will also be on view. With abstract sensibility, each define the illusion of space in their own personal way. Capturing nature's exquisite light and atmosphere with its many colors and textures, these artists convey a sense of the east end.
